Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to be enjoying a well earned rest from Real Madrid duty as the Portugal star went shopping with his son, Cristiano Jnr.

The pair were joined by a friend and scoured the high-end shops and boutiques in Madrid's Golden Mile.

This district of the city is known to feature designer shops and the trio were spotted leaving Gucci together.

Fresh from his success as FIFA's The Best player, Ronaldo used his time off to full effect with some family bonding and both father and son looked typically well dressed for the trip.

Ronaldo was afforded a break from this season's exertions as Zinedine Zidane rested his the striker along with Luca Modric for Real's second leg against Sevilla in the Copa del Rey.
