Cristiano Ronaldo wishes his fans a Happy Halloween with a ghoulish get-up

Cristiano Ronaldo transformed himself into an unrecognisable ghoul for Halloween, dressing up as a vampire ahead of the spooky celebration .

The Real Madrid star donned a creepy cape, wig, mask and blood-stained fangs, posing for a photo with his fingers poised as claws.

He was posing alongside a friend, who wore a red cape and V for Vendetta mask.

Although there was little to identify who was who, Ronaldo gave himself away by standing in his trademarked legs-wide stance, the iconic pose he strikes before taking free-kicks.

Halloween comes after a good week for the Portuguese forward, who scored a hat-trick in Saturday's 4-1 win against Alaves to end a difficult patch for Los Blancos in which he was failing to live up to his own impossibly high standards.
